Poor Circulation

Blood circulation is the course the blood takes from the heart through to the arteries, capillaries, and veins and back again to the heart.

Poor circulation is the inadequacy of blood flow to a particular area. Being aged over 50, certain illnesses, immobility, smoking or obesity are amongst many of the risks that increase your chance of developing poor circulation.

Symptoms

Normally seen in the hands, legs and feet, symptoms of poor circulation can be:

  • Cramping of the buttocks, legs or feet
  • Heavy legs
  • Painful legs and feet
  • Swelling in the legs and feet
  • Tired, aching feet and legs
  • Very low temperature in your hands, legs or feet

Poor circulation affects millions around the world and can be the side effects of some serious medical conditions such as:

  • Diabetes
  • Arthritis
  • Vascular Diseases
  • Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

Venous Insufficiency
Venous insufficiency is caused by problems in one or more deeper leg veins. Normally, valves in your veins keep your blood flowing back towards the heart so it does not collect in one place. But the valves in varicose veins are either damaged or missing. This causes the veins to remain filled with blood, especially when you are standing.

Risk factors for venous insufficiency include:

  • Age
  • Being female (hormone related)
  • Being tall
  • Genetic factors
  • Obesity
  • Prolonged sitting or standing

Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD)
In medical terms, chronic bad circulation is classed as Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD), which is when fatty deposits are accumulated in the outer linings of the artery wall. This accumulation results in the blockage in the veins and arteries.

Most people suffer with poor circulation at some point in their lives – usually from standing or sitting for prolonged periods. With daily use, the Circulation Booster® v3 could help maintain healthy circulation in your legs & could provide fast acting relief from swollen feet and tired, aching legs.

The Circulation Booster® v3 has been scientifically tested to see if it could help improve poor circulation, reduce swelling in your lower legs and feet and alleviate tired, heavy and aching legs. Our studies have shown that 40 minutes of inactivity in healthy people resulted in poor circulation and swelling. After using the Circulation Booster® v3 for only 10 minutes, this could be alleviated.
